Email, password and language
Change your nickname and password on the account page; the sign-in email can't be changed. Reset a forgotten password from the sign-in page with an email code, and switch the interface language at the top of the page.
Your nickname and password live on the account page: click your avatar at the bottom left and choose “Account & Steam”. The sign-in email can't be changed.
Nickname
Edit “Nickname” and click “Save”. It can be up to 32 characters and is what your team sees in the member list, in notes and in @mentions.
Change your password
- Under “Password” on the account page, enter your “Current password”.
- Enter a new password of at least 8 characters.
- Click “Change password”.
Forgot your password
- On the sign-in page, click “Forgot password?”.
- Enter the email you signed up with and click “Send code”.
- Type in the 6-digit code from the email. It's valid for 10 minutes.
- Enter a new password and click “Reset and sign in”. You're taken straight into the app.
Interface language
Click the language button at the top of the page (next to the bell) and pick 简体中文, English, Русский or Français. The same button is on the sign-in page.
The choice is remembered in the browser you're using, so on another device or browser you'll need to pick it again. The first time you open cs2coach it follows your browser's language.
Replay the guided tours
The first time you open each page, a step-by-step tour introduces what's on it. To see the tours again, click “Replay the tours” under “Guided tour” on the account page; they'll show again as you open each page.
Common cases
The code doesn't arrive Check your spam folder first. Once the countdown on the “Send code” button ends, you can send another.
“This email isn't registered yet” Check for a typo, or you may have signed up with a different email.
“The verification code is incorrect or has expired” Send a new one and use the code from the latest email.
Changing the sign-in email The sign-in email can't be changed.
There's no “Password” section on the account page Accounts that sign in by scanning with WeChat have no email or password, so the section isn't shown.
