How things work, and what to do when something goes wrong.
Getting started
From signing up to watching your first replay
- Sign up and create a teamSign up with your email, create a team, and you're its admin.
- Invite your teammatesCreate an invite link and send it over. It's valid for 7 days and works for several people.
- Upload your first demoDrop a demo file or an archive into the upload dialog. Once it's processed, open it from the demo library.
- The viewer in five minutesOpen a demo and learn three things: switching rounds, scrubbing the timeline and changing speed.
Follow a review, step by step

Team and account
Roles, seats, Steam and account settings
- Roles and permissionsA team has four roles — admin, analyst, player and guest. They differ mainly in uploading, deleting and managing members.
- Seats and guestsAdmins, analysts and players take one seat each. Guests don't take a seat.
- Link your Steam accountLink Steam from the account page by signing in through Steam. Once linked, you're highlighted by default in demos you played in. It can be done once and can't be changed or undone.
- Email, password and languageChange your nickname and password on the account page; the sign-in email can't be changed. Reset a forgotten password from the sign-in page with an email code, and switch the interface language at the top of the page.
- Delete your accountClick “Delete account” at the bottom of the account page and confirm with your current password. It can't be undone, and if you're the only admin of a team you first need to hand the admin role over, or delete the team with every member's consent.
Plans and billing
How the plans differ, trials and activation
- How the plans differFree is the 2D replay only. Personal adds every analysis tool. Team adds the 3D view, more seats and more storage.
- Trial, subscription and renewalThe Team plan can be tried for free once. In English, Russian and French you subscribe online in US dollars and the plan renews by itself; in Chinese, plans in yuan are activated by hand.
Troubleshooting
Start here when a demo fails or won't open
- When processing failsThe demo library tells you why a demo failed. Look the reason up below — most are incomplete files or unsupported demo types.
- Demo health check and repairEvery demo is checked and repaired automatically while it's processed. You can also export a repaired .dem that plays properly in the game.
- HLTV demos with missing roundsDemos from HLTV often show “Round 0” in CS2 and won't skip rounds. They're fixed automatically on upload, and you can export a repaired file for the game.
- Videos that won't play or are slowA spinner in the 3D view means the video is still loading, and the replay waits for it. If a window says “Render failed” or “No video yet”, render that video again.
- Slow or interrupted uploadsWhat's already uploaded is kept: after an interruption, choose the same file again and it continues. Compressed files upload faster.
