How long processing takes
After upload a demo waits in a queue. The “Status” column in the demo library shows its place in line; paid teams go first.
Once a demo is uploaded it waits in a queue to be processed. How long depends on how many demos are ahead of it: the “Status” column in the demo library shows its place in line, and paid teams go first.
Reading the status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Uploading | The file is still being uploaded. |
| Upload incomplete | The upload was interrupted. Click “Resume upload” next to it. |
| Queued · #N in queue | Waiting its turn. “#1 in queue” means it's next. |
| Processing | Being processed; the percentage next to it is the progress. |
| Done | Click the title to open the replay. |
| Failed | It couldn't be processed. The reason is under the title. |
The list refreshes by itself, so there's no need to reload the page. You can close the page while a demo is queued or processing and come back later.
Who goes first
- Paid teams first: demos of teams on Personal or Team (including during the free trial) are placed ahead of Free ones.
- First come, first served within each group: ordered by when the upload finished. The queue holds every team's demos, not only yours.
- Series in order: the maps split from one archive are processed in the order they were played.
- Reprocessing queues too: after “Reprocess” the demo joins the queue again and can't be watched until it's done.
Common cases
