Heatmap
Add up positions, kills or deaths from your filtered rounds into hot spots — the redder, the more concentrated — and export the result as an image.
The heatmap adds up positions from the rounds in your current set and draws them on the map, from blue through green and yellow to red. The redder a spot, the more concentrated it is.
Open it
- On “Round analysis”, filter down to a set of rounds first.
- Click “Heatmap” at the top.
Three kinds of heatmap
- “Positions”: where living players spent time. The longer someone stays, the hotter the spot — good for finding held angles and hiding spots.
- “Kill positions”: where the killer stood when they got the kill.
- “Death positions”: where the victim was when they died.
Narrow it down
- Side: “Both sides”, CT or T.
- Player: “Whole team” or a single player.
- Time window: drag both ends of the slider to count only from one second after the round goes live to another — for example just the setups in the first 20 seconds.
- Levels: on maps with two levels, switch between “Upper” and “Lower”.
Adjust the look
- “Radius”: the size of each point. Smaller keeps individual spots apart; larger makes whole areas easier to read.
- “Opacity”: how strongly the heat covers the map.
The number at the top right is how many samples the current settings use. When it's small, treat the picture as a hint only.
Export an image
“Export PNG” downloads the current picture. A caption in the bottom-left corner lists the map, heatmap kind, side, player, time window, number of rounds and demos, and the date, so you don't have to explain it when you send it to teammates.
Common cases
It says the set is empty Go back to “Round list” and tick some rounds.
The whole map has just one or two red spots The colours are relative: the reddest place is simply the most concentrated one in this batch of rounds. On a positions heatmap that is often the spawn; drag the start of the time window a few seconds later to skip it.
The kill or death heatmap is sparse There just aren't many kills to draw. Add more demos or loosen the filters.
