How the stats are calculated
How K/D, ADR, KAST, headshot rate, opening kills and deaths, win rates and the plant split are each worked out.
Every number on the “Stats” page comes from your processed demos and follows the rules below. If a number differs from another platform, the rules are most likely different.
Two views
- “Team overview”: adds up many demos and shows your team only. Narrow it by map and date range.
- “Single demo”: pick one demo; both teams are listed.
Player stats
| Stat | How it's calculated |

| Rounds | Rounds the player took part in |
| K | Kills on opponents. Team kills and suicides don't count |
| D | Deaths, however they happened |
| A | Assists |
| K/D | Kills divided by deaths. With no deaths at all, it shows the number of kills |
| ADR | Total damage dealt to opponents, divided by rounds played. Damage to teammates doesn't count |
| KAST | Share of the player's rounds in which they contributed |
| HS | Headshot kills as a share of all kills |
| Opening kills | Rounds in which the player got the first kill of the round |
| Opening deaths | Rounds in which the player was the first one killed by the other team |
Click a column header to sort by it. The default is ADR, highest first.
What counts as contributing for KAST
A round counts if any one of these is true:
- K: the player got a kill.
- A: the player got an assist.
- S: the player survived to the end of the round.
- T: the player was traded — whoever killed them was killed too within 5 seconds of their death.
Team stats
- Win rate, CT win rate, T win rate: rounds won divided by rounds played, once overall and once per side.
- Plants A / B: on your T rounds, how many were planted at A and how many at B. The percentage next to each is how often you won the round after planting there.
- No plant: your T rounds without a plant.
Rounds that weren't recorded completely are left out of these team stats.
Common cases
It says some demos are not counted The team overview needs to know which side is yours. It uses the demo's “Our team” setting first; without it, it looks at which side has more of your members with Steam linked. Demos with neither are skipped. Set “Our team” in the demo library; for linking, see Linking Steam.
It says stats are still being calculated They appear within a few minutes after a demo finishes processing.
It says there are no demos to count Try another map or a wider date range, or set “Our team” first.
