Voice sync
Upload your team's comms recording to a demo and align it; the voice then plays along with the replay. Press M to mute.
Voice sync lines up your team's comms from the match with the replay: the voice plays wherever the replay is, and follows when you drag the timeline or switch rounds.
Upload a recording
- Click “Voice sync” in the viewer's bottom control bar.
- Click “Upload recording” and choose the audio file.
- Once uploaded, the recording appears in the list, tagged “Not aligned”.
Supported formats are mp3, m4a, aac, ogg, opus, wav, webm and flac, up to 300 MB per file. A demo can have up to 6 recordings: each player's own, the coach's, or a room mic. Click “Add another recording” to add more.
Align
Click the arrow at the right of a recording to expand it. The first line states the current alignment, for example “12:30.0 in the recording = start of round 1”. The start of a round is the moment buy time ends and the round goes live.
Auto-align
- Choose a reference in the dropdown: a recording that's already aligned if you have one, otherwise “Use match events as reference (estimate)”.
- Click “Auto-align”.
On success it says “Aligned”. If it reports that no reliable sync point was found, you can click “Use it anyway” to take the closest result and fine-tune by hand.
Align and fine-tune by hand
- Pick a round in the dropdown, then use the
-1s,-0.1s,+0.1sand+1sbuttons to shift the recording earlier or later. Play and listen until it matches. - “Align here” maps the point the recording is at right now to the replay's current position.
The alignment applies to the whole team: teammates who open this demo hear the same synced voice.
Playback and volume
- Once there's a recording, a microphone button appears in the bottom control bar. Click it or press
Mto mute or unmute all voice. - The slider at the top of the panel is the master volume. Each recording has its own volume slider and mute button, so you can listen to just a few of them.
- Click the pencil next to a recording's name to rename it.

Common cases
“Auto-align” is greyed out A new recording has to be analysed first. The panel says so, and the button becomes available when it's done.
Aligning against match events is off That method is an estimate. Align one recording by hand, then auto-align the others against it; that's far more accurate.
No voice at high speed Voice pauses above 4x. Go back to 4x or slower and it returns.
There's a recording but I can't hear it Check whether the microphone button is muted and whether that recording's own mute is on. There's also no sound while the replay is before the start or after the end of the recording.
