Pick your team
Once a demo is processed you're asked which team is yours. After that, the 3D view defaults to your five players, and “our team” in filters and stats follows the same choice.
Every demo has two teams, and cs2coach needs to know which one is yours. You pick once and can change it any time.
Pick when processing finishes
When a demo you uploaded has been processed, the demo library asks “Which team is yours?”. Each team is listed with its players' names; click yours and you're done.
If you'd rather not pick now, click “Choose later”. It doesn't hold up the upload or the 2D replay.
What the choice is used for
- 3D view: your team is preselected when you generate videos, and its five players are what you see first in the 3D view.
- Round filter and stats: conditions about your side and your wins, and the team tagged as yours in the stats, all follow this choice.
Pick later or change it
- Open the demo library and click “…” at the right of the demo's row.
- Choose “Edit details”.
- Select your team under “Our team” and save.
For a demo with no team picked yet, the dialog for generating 3D views also asks “Which team is yours?” the first time. The team you choose there is saved as yours as well.
Common cases
The dialog never appeared It only shows for demos you uploaded yourself that finish processing while you have the demo library open. Otherwise use “Edit details”.
I picked the wrong team Change it under “Edit details” as described above. Videos that already exist aren't affected.
I can't change it Guests can't change it; players can only change it on demos they uploaded. See Roles and permissions.
The round filter says some demos have no “our team” set Demos without a pick are counted as team A for now. Pick your team on them to get accurate results. See Round filter.
