Send a replay moment to the strat board
Stop the 2D replay at the moment you want, open “Settings” and click “Strat board”: the positions, smokes and fires become a new strat.
When a replay shows a setup worth keeping, you can move that exact moment onto the strat board instead of placing everyone by hand.
Import
- In the 2D replay, play or scrub to the moment you want and pause.
- Click “Settings” in the bottom bar, then “Strat board” in the “Actions” row.
- The strat board opens a new strat with that moment already laid out on the map.
- Click “Save” and name it — only then is it stored on your team's strat board.
What comes across
- Players who are alive: position, name and side.
- Smokes and fires: the smokes and molotovs that are up on the map at that moment.
- Details: the name is prefilled with the demo title and the round number, and the map and opponent are filled in for you. Name and opponent can be edited.
Dead players, flashbangs, HE grenades and anything you drew on the replay don't come across. On maps with two levels, the board switches to the level most players are on.
After importing
It's a strat like any other: move players, add arrows and text, split it into phases. The tools are covered in Draw a strat.
Under the details on the right there's a “Source” line; click it to jump back to that round and moment in the replay.
The map of an imported strat is fixed and can't be swapped for another one.
Common cases
There's no “Strat board” button under “Settings” The button only shows in the 2D replay. If you're watching the 3D view, switch back to 2D first.
Clicking it shows a feature introduction instead Your team's current plan doesn't include the strat board. It is included in …. See How the plans differ.
The imported strat can't be saved Guests can open it but can't save strats — see Roles and permissions.
It says there's no calibration data for the map That map can't be used on the strat board for now.
