Turning on drawing and sketching on the map

Start drawing

  2. Pick a tool and a colour in the toolbar.
  3. Press and drag on the map to draw.
  4. When you're finished, click “Done” in the toolbar, press P again, or press Esc. What you drew stays on the map.

There are four colours. The selected one applies to whatever you draw next.

Clearing

“Clear drawings”, in the toolbar and in “Settings”, removes everything drawn on the map at once. There is no undo, and you can't erase a single stroke.

How long drawings stay

Drawings live on the current round only. They're gone when you switch rounds or leave the page, and your teammates never see them.

To keep one, tick “Attach a snapshot of the current drawing” when you write a note. Anyone who opens that note later sees the drawing on the map. See Notes.

Common cases

P does nothing You can't draw in the 3D view; go back to 2D first. Also, while the cursor is in a text field, keys are typed as text.

Can't pan the map or select a player while drawing While drawing is on, everything you do with the mouse on the map draws. Click “Done” to get panning and selecting back.

My drawing vanished after opening a note Opening a note that carries a drawing replaces what's currently on the map with the note's drawing.

I want to draw a full strat Use the strat board; what you draw there is saved.
