Uploading, resuming and archives
An interrupted upload doesn't start over: choose the same file again and it continues from where it stopped. Archives don't need unpacking.

What you can upload
.dem,.dem.bz2,.dem.gz,.zip,.rar.- A single file can be up to 1 GB.
- You can pick several files at once. They upload one after another; the ones still in line say “Waiting”.
Each file is checked before anything is sent. An empty file, a CS:GO demo, or a file whose contents don't match its extension is marked “Rejected” with the reason, so you don't waste an upload on it.
Pause, resume and cancel
Each file has buttons on the right:
- Pause, Resume: what's already uploaded is kept; resume carries on from there.
- Retry: short network hiccups are retried automatically. Only when that doesn't help does the file say “Failed” — retry continues from what was already sent.
- Cancel upload: the part already uploaded is discarded, and you'd have to start from the beginning.
Click “Keep uploading in the background” to close the dialog without stopping the upload. You can move to other pages: the page header keeps showing the upload progress, and clicking it brings you back to the dialog. Closing or reloading the tab stops the upload, and you resume it next time.
Pick up an unfinished upload
- Open the demo library and click “Upload demo”. The dialog lists your “Unfinished uploads”. You can also find the row that says “Upload incomplete” in the list and click “Resume upload”.
- Choose the same file again.
- The line under the progress bar says “resumed” and how much was skipped.
Keep in mind:
- It has to be the same file: not renamed, not downloaded again, not modified.
- Only the person who started the upload can resume it.
- Unfinished uploads are kept for 3 days, then removed automatically.
- An unfinished upload holds on to team storage in the meantime. If you no longer want it, click “Discard” next to it under “Unfinished uploads”.
