Upload your first demo
Drop a demo file or an archive into the upload dialog. Once it's processed, open it from the demo library.
Uploading happens in the demo library. Archives don't need unpacking; after the upload the demo is processed automatically, and then you can open the replay.
Upload
- Open the demo library and click “Upload demo”.
- Drop files into the dialog, or click to choose them. You can pick several at once.
- Wait for the progress bar. Once a file says it's uploaded and being processed, it shows up in the list shortly after.
A single file can be up to 1 GB. See Which demos are supported for formats and platforms.
While it uploads
- Close the dialog: click “Keep uploading in the background” and the upload carries on while you watch another demo. The page header keeps showing the upload progress; click it to get back to the dialog. Closing or reloading the tab stops the upload, and you can pick it up again next time.
- Pause and resume: each file has pause, resume and cancel buttons on the right.
- Pick up where you left off: if the connection dropped or you closed the page, the dialog lists your unfinished uploads next time. Choose the same file again and it continues from where it stopped.
Keep the buy time at the start of each round
The dialog has this option. Unchecked, each round starts at the moment it goes live, which saves space. Checked, you also see positions and movement during the buy time.
An archive with several matches
When an archive holds several maps (a BO3, for example), it's split into one demo per map, and each appears in the list.
Common cases
Free says this month's uploads are used up The Free plan allows … demos a month; Personal and Team are unlimited. See How the plans differ.
The list says “Failed” The reason is shown next to the demo. Look it up in When processing fails.
Guests can't upload Guests can only watch. Uploading needs the player role or above.
