Generate 3D view videos for a round
Click “Generate 3D views” in the viewer, pick a team, and you get first-person videos of that team's five players for the round.
The 3D view is first-person video recorded from real game footage. Videos are made per round: you generate the round you want to watch, from inside the viewer.
Generate a round
- In the viewer, go to the round you want.
- Click “Generate 3D views” in the bottom control bar, or press
V. - Pick a team in the dialog. Your own team is selected by default.
- To see the opponents too, tick “Also generate the other team's views”. Without it you get the selected team's 5 views; with it, all 10 from both teams, which takes about twice as long.
- Click “Generate 5 views” (or “Generate 10 views”).
You're taken straight into the 3D view in fullscreen, and each window shows its own progress. You can press V to go back to 2D and keep watching meanwhile; the numbers on the button (2/5, for example) count the finished views. When everything is done, whoever requested it gets a notification that opens this round in the 3D view.
Watching
- One large window on top and four small ones below show the five players of one team. Click a small window to move it into the large one.
- Play, pause, speed, the timeline and the round bar are shared with the 2D replay, so all five POVs stay in sync.
- Only the large window has sound; “Mute video” in the bottom bar turns it off.
- “Swap teams” under “Settings” shows the other team's five POVs.
- Press
Vor click “Back to 2D” to return to the 2D replay.
“Freeze time” on a window means the round hasn't gone live yet, “Dead” means that player has died, and “Round over” means the video has ended.
Re-render a single view
In the 3D view, move the player into the large window, click the circular-arrow button in the bottom bar and confirm with “Re-render”. The old video is replaced; the other views aren't affected.
