Notes and @mentions
Press N at any moment of a round to write down a point, and type @ to notify a teammate.
A note is attached to one moment of a round and is visible to the whole team. Opening it takes you back to that moment; @mention a teammate in it and they get a notification.
Write a note
- In the viewer, stop the replay at the moment you want to talk about and press
N. - Write your point. To notify someone, type
@and pick them from the list that pops up. - Click “Save”, or press
Ctrl+Enter.
Without the keyboard: open the settings at the bottom and click “Notes” in the “Actions” row, or click “+ Add” in the notes panel.
Include your drawing
If you have lines or circles drawn on the map at that moment, the dialog offers “Attach a snapshot of the current drawing”, ticked by default. When someone opens the note later, the drawing comes back with it.
Read notes
- The round's notes appear as markers above the timeline and are listed in the notes panel in time order.
- Click a marker or a note in the panel and the replay jumps to that moment and pauses.
- During “Play all” in a playlist, playback pauses at each note and shows it.
Reply
Click “Reply” under a note, write, and click “Send”. You can @mention teammates in replies too.
Who gets notified
- Anyone you @mention: their notifications show that you mentioned them in a note.
- When someone replies to your note: you're told they replied.
Clicking the notification opens that round and goes straight to the note. You can only @mention members of your team.
Delete
A note or reply can be deleted by whoever wrote it, or by an admin. Notes can't be edited after saving; if you got something wrong, delete it and write it again.
Common cases
Typing @ doesn't show the person I'm looking for The list only has members of your team; keep typing part of their name to narrow it down. If they haven't joined yet, invite them first.
The notes don't show on a link I shared Public share links carry the replay only, not the notes.
Clicking “Notes” shows a feature introduction Your current plan doesn't include notes. See How the plans differ.
