Delete your account
Click “Delete account” at the bottom of the account page and confirm with your current password. It can't be undone, and if you're the only admin of a team you first need to hand the admin role over, or delete the team with every member's consent.
You delete your account on the account page. It takes effect as soon as you confirm and can't be undone.
Before you delete
- You just want out of a team: no need to delete your account. Remove yourself in the member list — see Roles and permissions.
- You're an admin of a team that has other members: make another member an admin under “Members & settings” first; or ask to delete the team, and once every member has agreed the team is deleted with your account. Otherwise the deletion is refused.
- You're the only member of a team: the team and all its demos are deleted with your account. Save anything you want to keep beforehand.
Delete it
- Click your avatar at the bottom left and choose “Account & Steam”.
- Scroll to the “Delete account” section at the bottom and click “Delete account”.
- In the “Delete your account?” dialog, enter your current password. Accounts without a password (signed in with WeChat) type DELETE instead.
- Click “Delete account” to confirm.
You're then taken back to the sign-in page.
What happens afterwards
The page itself spells out the consequences:
- Your email, password, WeChat and Steam identifiers are erased and can't be recovered.
- Teams where you're the only member are deleted along with all their demos.
- Teams with other members are kept. Your notes stay, attributed to “Deleted user”.

Common cases
It says you're the only admin of a team That team still has other members but no other admin. Under “Members & settings”, there are two ways out. Change another member's role to admin, and the team stays. Or click “Ask to delete the team” at the bottom of the same page: each member gets an email and an in-app notification, and once everyone (guests aside) has agreed, come back and delete your account — the team and all its data are deleted with it. Asking deletes nothing, and you can withdraw the request at any time.
“Incorrect password” It's asking for your current sign-in password. If you've forgotten it, reset it first.
Coming back later The old account can't be restored; you'd have to sign up for a new one.
