Targeted analysis: studying one opposing player
Pick one opposing player and see where they get kills, where they die, where they start the round, who beats them, plus automatic counter-strat advice and the key-player mark.
Targeted analysis is the fourth Insights page: pick one opposing player and look at every round they played against you in one place.
Picking a player
The dropdown at the top lists every opposing player who played against you on the selected map and in the date range, ordered by kills on your team; players marked ★ come first. “Mark as key player” on the right adds the ★, which the whole team sees; click again to remove it. Guests cannot mark players.
The tags next to the name come from the data: a high AWP share, a high headshot rate, many opening kills, strong in clutches, and the area they hold on T / CT.
Key figures
Kills on us, K/D, opening kill rate, opening death rate, AWP kill share, headshot rate, traded by us and clutch win rate. The small bar under each compares them with the “opponents' average”: every opposing player pooled under the same filters. Numbers well above that average turn red.
The map
- Kill positions: where they stood when killing your players; a white ring marks an opening kill. The brighter an area, the more kills come from it.
- Death positions: where they fell to your players; a tinted dot means a teammate traded them afterwards.
- First 20 s: the areas they entered within the first 20 s of the round; darker means more rounds.
“On T / On CT” at the top switches their side, and the side rails follow.
Side rails
- Opening habits: the areas they are in most during the first 20 s on that side, with a 5-second timeline; below it, the median second they leave spawn.
- Weapons and duels: the weapons they kill your players with, headshot rate, average TTK, long-range kills, through-smoke and noscope kills, and how many of your flashed players they killed.
- Duels against us: on the left how often they killed each of your players, on the right how often each of your players killed them. The note names who loses most and who beats them.
- Clutches: their 1v1, 1v2 and 1v3 win rates against you.
- Rounds with their opening kill: click a row to open it in the 2D replay.
Counter-strat advice
The advice at the bottom is derived from the data above; each item carries its numeric evidence and a “Watch round” button that opens an example round. Nothing is generated when the sample is too small. The advice is a plain summary of the numbers; how to use it depends on your own strats.
Common situations
The player is not in the dropdown Change the map or widen the date range; a player only appears in processed demos played against you.
The opponents' average looks off It assumes five opposing players a round and drifts with small samples.
